Tree Communication

Tree Communication-Deep Roots, Long Memory, and Shared Wisdom

In silence, we continue to speak- Join us for a gentle, reflective nature walk through the quiet November at Eidson Woods Preserve, where bare branches reveal the hidden architecture of forest life. As trees shed their leaves and prepare for dormancy, we'll explore how they remain deeply alive and connected through vast root systems and mycorrhizal networks-often called the "wood wide web". Along the way, we'll pause for sensory observations, share stories of tree communication, and consider what it means to rest, release, and stay rooted through seasonal change. This 1.5 hour program invites families, adults, and curious minds (ages 6+) to experience the silent wisdom of the forest and discover how trees model community, resilience, and unseen support.
