The Science of Butterflies

Take a closer look at one of nature’s most captivating creatures in this introductory program all about butterflies. Learn about butterfly anatomy, explore their fascinating life cycle, and get to know some of the most common butterfly species found in Ohio. We’ll also discuss the important role butterflies play in the environment, their connection to healthy ecosystems, and what can be done to protect their habitats. Following the program, participants are invited to join a short optional hike to see what butterflies we can spot along the trail.
