Registration opens September 30th!
The garden spaces provided by Darke County Parks District are offered to provide members of the community an opportunity to learn more about the environment through gardening activities. The gardening participants are expected to follow rules and guidelines established by the DCPD for this Community Garden. Failure to follow garden rules will result in the gardener losing gardening privileges and any expenses incurred.
Garden spaces are approximately 9'x3' block raised beds. Rain barrels are provided for watering and gardeners have access to communal tools.
Plot rental will run from Nov-Oct allowing for winter bulb or crops as well as traditional summer gardening.
The use of commercial, chemical pesticides is prohibited.

Note: Upon completion of your contract form and acceptance into the Community Garden Program, the Community Garden Coordinator will contact you to let you know when you can begin gardening and which garden bed(s) you will utilize.
