Darke County Parks Raptor Education Program is a great way to learn about and experience local raptor species through our animal ambassadors.
We believe using these animal ambassadors enhances our programming and also gives a home to a bird that cannot be returned to the wild. The cost of caring, housing, and medical care for a bird of prey is steep.
Does your classroom want to help?
Adoption fee is $1 per student ($3/student out of county)
Your Classroom Adoption includes:
A certificate of adoption with a full-color photograph of your bird.
A 30-45-minute classroom presentation and monthly updates via email about your chosen bird.
Monthly email updates (w/photos) about your bird through the remainder of the school year.
*YOUR GIFT COVERS THE ENTIRE SCHOOL YEAR *
*Please Note: You will receive an invoice based on class size via email from us once your adoption is accepted. *
