When you click "Reserve" you will need to fill in a simple "Description of Use" and "Group Size". Please use "In-school or Field Trip request" and your group size here. There will be a form immediately after that which will require full class details and program topic/theme offerings for you to make your full request. You can also request more specific times on this form.
** By default, the system will not allow any requests sooner than 14 days from now. Likewise, these requests run from January to December of the current year. If you need to make a request that occurs sooner or further in the future than that, please call us at 937-548-0165

COVID Precautions:
Please be aware that during the 2021-22 school year, Darke County Parks is adopting special rules to protect against the spread of COVID-19. Our group sizes will be limited to 50 (including adult teachers/chaperones) and programs will be held entirely outdoors. Restrooms will be available as needed but is requested that group sizes be limited to the number of stalls in each restroom, not the entire class. Lunch may be eaten at the outdoor picnic tables, but not inside. Masks rules will be adopted for each school, so please be sure to give us info on how your school is using or not using masks during your registration.
Please be aware this is a date reservation REQUEST. Upon completion of all forms, you will receive an automatic email. This isn't a confirmation. You will receive a follow-up email from naturalist staff within a few days to confirm your program requests. Please do not finalize plans with your transportation or administration until you hear back from us.
